“Til Kongo” is a play where three Norwegian actors try to understand what can make young Norwegian men leave everything and go on an adventure in the darkest Africa.
The play “Til Kongo” starts in a claustrophobic prison cell in Kisangani and appears to shed light on the friendship between Tjostolf Moland and Joshua French. But this is just on the surface. It quickly becomes clear that actors are more interested in other characters than the real Moland and French. The three Norwegian actors look for answers , but get more and more entangled a modern dream play where there are no answers; Where there is no truth; where there is no reality. What is left is only fiction and dreams.
