Kristian Lykkeslet Strømskag (1980) is a Norwegian dramaturg and playwright. Lykkeslet Strømskag has his education from the University of Oslo. He has hovedfag (Master) in Nordic literature. He also studied dramaturgy at Humboldt University in Berlin. He works as a dramaturg at Norway´s National Theatre. Previously he worked at Teatret Vårt, Rogaland Teater, Den Nationale Scene and Kabul Teatre in Afghanistan. In 2006 he had his debut as a playwright with Hafruens Sønn (The Murmaid´s Son) at Teatret Vårt. Autumn 2011 he wrote the monologue “Uncle Sam” for Literaturhuset. “Til Kongo” premiered at Teatret Vårt 2012. “Til Valhall” was performed at Dramatikkfestivalen 2013. “Vi er Norge” was shown at Norway´s National Theatre, dramatic and Caféteateret (DK) in 2014. From 2014-2016 he was writer in residence at Dramatikkens Hus. “Kjære Europa” premiered at festspillene i Bergen 2016. “Festningen Europa” was staged at Det Norske Teater autumn 2016.
